Okay, I am a mom…. and occasionally I like to have a glass of wine. So, why not “SPOOK” it up?!?! Here is how I took $3.50 halloween plastic decorations and turned them into wine charms.
Here is the choice of “charm” I chose. They are a bit on the bigger side, but what’s spooky about small?!?
I bought an assortment of black hooks, but was really looking just for the eye hooks. I then took my drill with the smallest bit I could find and drilled through the decoration so I could attach the eye hook through it, then folded it in the decoration. Should you have something smaller, a round clasp works, or use metal “clamps” they look like metal glass beads, and all you do is clamp them flat with pliers and they make sure to never move place.
I then was able to find already formed round hooks to create my charms. You can easily take your flat ones and wrap them around a felt marker or something with thickness to do this, but I got a 50 assortment pack for $3, so it was hard to not say ‘no’.
Easily done, and now you have your own way to make your Halloween from “Blah” to “Spook-tacular!!!”
