Kids love chicken nuggets and fries. Making homemade chicken nuggets is easy, and you know what is in it. I like to do this and change up the spices I put in the breading, depending on what I am serving with it. For a kid friendly version, try this.
Here’s what you will need:
2 thawed chicken breast, cut in 1″ cubes
1 cup breadcrumbs – try homemade breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp oregano
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425F. Cut your chicken in cubes and place on the side. In a small/medium bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, garlic salt, oregano and salt and pepper. Drop in the chicken cubes and toss until covered. Get a oven pan and spray with non-stick spray. Place all the chicken on the pan and put in the oven for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked. Add with your favourite side for you or the kids. VOILA! Super easy and healthy chicken nuggets. Try adding in some cajun seasoning for spice, basil and more oregano for an italian taste to serve with spaghetti, or basil with some fresh lemon juice for a lighter/greek taste. Enjoy!
